Privacy Policy

Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Armada (“we,” “us”) handles information when you use the Armada Accounts portal at accounts.goarmada.co (the “Site”). It covers partner accounts, onboarding, LinkedIn listing, payouts, referrals, and the Armada LinkedIn Connect browser extension when used for the partner vault. Product app privacy (including Gmail / Google Calendar OAuth) is at www.goarmada.co/privacy.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use the Site, we may collect:

• Account data: email, name, authentication identifiers from our auth provider (WorkOS)
• Profile and listing data: LinkedIn URL, region, phone/WhatsApp, Discord username (optional), photo, commitment choices, agreement records, listing status
• Connection data needed to operate a matched profile: LinkedIn connection identifiers, encrypted LinkedIn browser login data (including session cookies such as li_at / li_a when you connect via the Armada LinkedIn Connect extension), and an encrypted LinkedIn login backup (username and password) you choose to save so we can reconnect after a match. Ciphertext is stored server-side; we do not show your password back in the portal.
• Payout data processed by Stripe Connect (bank / identity fields Stripe collects to pay you)
• Referral codes and attribution when someone signs up with your link
• Technical logs: IP address, user agent, approximate location derived from IP, and security events
• Messages you send us (for example email to accounts@goarmada.co)

How we use information

We use this information to:

• Create and secure your partner account
• Screen, match, and operate LinkedIn seat listings
• Pay you through Stripe and track referral rewards
• Send transactional email about onboarding, matches, payouts, and notices
• Prevent fraud, abuse, and LinkedIn / compliance risk
• Improve the Site and meet legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use partner contact data to blast unrelated marketing lists. We do not use LinkedIn session data for advertising, credit scoring, or data brokerage, and we do not use it to train generalized AI models.

Armada LinkedIn Connect (Chrome extension)

The extension's single purpose is to link your LinkedIn session to Armada Accounts (partner vault) or the Armada product. It reads LinkedIn cookies only when you start a connect from Armada, sends them over HTTPS to our servers, and does not store those cookies in the extension. It does not automate LinkedIn, scrape your feed, or inject scripts into LinkedIn pages. Full product-side practices (including Google OAuth) are described at www.goarmada.co/privacy.

You can remove the extension in Chrome, disconnect in the portal, or email accounts@goarmada.co for help.

Sharing

We share information with:

• Service providers that run the Site with us (auth, hosting, email, LinkedIn session tooling, payments)
• Matched customers, to the limited extent needed to operate the rented seat (for example profile branding and outreach under the program)
• Professional advisors or authorities when required by law
• A buyer or successor if Armada is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to this policy or equivalent protections

Stripe processes payout-related personal data under its own terms and privacy policy as an independent controller/processor for Connect.

Cookies and similar tech

We use cookies and similar storage for sign-in sessions, security, and basic product function (including referral attribution cookies such as armada_partner_ref). We do not run a third-party ad network on the partner Site.

Retention

We keep account, listing, agreement, and payout records for as long as your partnership is active and afterward as needed for disputes, tax, fraud prevention, and legal retention. You can ask us to close an account; some records may remain where we must keep them.

Security

We use standard safeguards (encrypted transport, access controls, credential isolation). No online system is perfectly secure. Protect your email inbox and LinkedIn session the same way you would for any account that can receive money.

International transfers

The Site is operated from the United States. If you access it from elsewhere, your information may be processed in the U.S. and other countries where our providers run.

Your choices

You can update profile details in the portal, disconnect LinkedIn, or request account help at accounts@goarmada.co. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data, or to object to certain processing. Email us to make a request; we may need to verify who you are first.

Children

The Site is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy by posting a new version and changing the “Last updated” date. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify active partners (for example by email or a portal notice).

Related terms

Use of the Site is also governed by our Terms of Service and any partner agreement you sign during onboarding.
